Me
Peace begins with me
Let there be love
In the words I speak
Let me bow to the ruler
Of the land of kindness
In humility
Let me kneel and pray
As I say
A blessing requested on behalf
Of the downtrodden
To have not only survival
Be their life story
For the glory
Of peace to be bestowed on
One
One all
To have the tranquility
Of loving dreams
To be able to sleep
And then to dream
Of hearts so full
Of joy so great
That words are forgotten
Instead there is only
A feeling deep in every heart
Of compassion
Of kindness
That spreads and moves
Thru the sphere
Around the sphere
Until hope is here
At long last
Eyes closed
Whispers told
Let there be peace
Everywhere.
