Listen in if you are interested in starting your own ICS project. Rafi offers up some practical advice and solutions for a way to transition from our current scarcity based system to one of abundance for all during these Transitioning Times ! (ICS) Intentional Community Sharing
Rafi explains the major differences between sharing and bartering our resources. Published on Feb 25, 2016"We examine a new type of economy, the shared and gift economies that involve bringing together small groups of people who offer services and products to each other for free or at cost. Rafi has a group functioning in Sutton, Quebec and Michael Knight is a big proponent of this movement. Rafi Oneness and Michael E V Knight can be found on Facebook. The days of fiat currency could be numbered, so its a good idea to find others and create your own gifting or shared economic network!" Brian Porter Host of I Am Nature "Money, barter and trade are all the same in regards of putting value on human lives, for example a dentist is worth more than a farmer.
We justify the worth of a dentist by saying it takes years of education, investment and talent to offer such a service. In an anti-human paradigm, the logic we use will be unavoidably anti-human. This makes me angry. How dare we say that one human is worth more than another. How can we justify such a thought? How can we collaborate with such a paradigm? ''The system'' is not the system. The system is made of billions of human beings who collaborate and contribute on a daily bases to this madness. With all the technological advancements we have, it makes no sense that hunger and poverty still exists. What are we doing? What the hell is going on here? ... Rafi You thoughts and ideas are much appreciated! In a world of competition, survival of the fittest, false scarcity and distrust , it leaves very little space for healthy relationships, working together and the joy of living life at it's fullest. We must reassess what money is and what it has brought to human life. It has become obvious to me and to so many others that money, barter or trade are no longer needed and are totally outdated systems and behaviours. Money has proven itself over and over that it is a tool of human self destruction, wake yourself up to this reality. I ask you to stay open minded and stay open to the mind shift that a no money world requires. Settle for nothing else than our fullest potential, do not be satisfied until we have completely eradicated poverty, war and imaginary borders. HUMANITY UNITE. In this video Alec Cope interviews Rafi a revolutionary spearheading the growing Contributionism movement. Rafi describes how he operates as business owner and how Contributionism has made an impact to him and his community so far.
