Politics and Social Issues
The controversy surrounding the issue of Chemtrails has prevented the subject from being fairly scrutinized by the public and the media. For a long time now, experts and government officials have flat out denied the existence of the program, and labeled all those with credible evidence as conspiracy theorists. This title has effectively pushed the topic into the realm of crackpot science, deterring a large percentage of Americans from looking into it further. This does not, however, make the existence of Chemtrails any less real.
In fact, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) holds annual conferences to discuss the plausibility and effectiveness of employing Geo-Engineering methods: those who attend claim that the conventions are only held to debate the issues, and that no such program exists anywhere in the world.
This is, of course, a complete denial of the obvious activity we can observe in our skies on a daily basis.
What we call “Chemtrails” is referred to by the scientific community as Stratospheric Aerosol Geo-Engineering. The patent which best outlines this method of atmospheric manipulation dates back to the early-90s, suggesting that the idea has been around for quite a while:
5003186- March 26, 1991
Stratospheric Welsbach Seeding for the Reduction of Global Warming
The idea behind the method is to help curb global warming by spraying metallic particulates in the atmosphere, reflecting more of the sun’s radiation away from the Earth. In theory, this would moderate the warming trend that our planet has experienced over the past few decades, helping to stabilize the environment in the long run. Personally, I am very skeptical of the ‘man-made global warming’ narrative, and therefore unconvinced that an aerosol spraying campaign is desirable, or necessary.
The issue I think a lot of people are missing is that eventually these sprayed particles will inevitably fall down to the Earth—contaminating ground water, throwing off the PH of the soil, and being inhaled by an unsuspecting public. In these ways, the prevalence of Chemtrails in recent years threatens to destabilize the environment and degrade the physical health of the nation.
If you’re curious about the documented environmental and health repercussions, I’ve decided to cover those issues in depth in a separate hub entitled “Chemtrails and The Consequences.”
Despite the fact that everything I’ve told you is public knowledge, there is still a social stigma surrounding the Chemtrail phenomenon. It would seem that there is an agenda to sensationalize this topic, making the public less apt to believe in something they could easily substantiate with their own eyes. Even though the issue has been turned into a joke by most media outlets, the evidence of its existence is reaching people across the nation, and the establishment has been forced to publically address it.
At first, the community was told that the reports of Chemtrails were simply falsely reported contrails from commercial and military airplanes. A contrail is formed from water vapor in the exhaust of airplanes, and can be seen trailing behind jets at high altitudes and in low humidity. Usually, these tracks dissipate within seconds, but in some cases take a few minutes to disappear completely.
This “expert” explanation was quickly disproved, as the Chemtrails that continued to be reported would linger for hours, spreading out over miles as a hazy particulate cloud. In addition, these trails are often seen crisscrossing one another, creating a checkered pattern against the blue sky, as if the planes are following a set flight path. Once the contrail explanation was openly refuted, the establishment was forced to revise its stance on the phenomenon.
The first big name to break the silence was billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates, who admitted in an interview with the U.K. Guardian that he is partly responsible for funding the spraying campaign. It is interesting that the establishment would deny the existence of Chemtrails for so long, only to come out supporting it later. This suggests that those involved are fully aware of the negative consequences, but continue to tamper with the atmosphere regardless. Several other well-known businessmen have also admitted to funding the program, including Niklas Zennstrom (co-finder of Skype) and Sir Richard Branson (owner of the Virgin Group).
More recently, former vice president Al Gore was featured on the Ellen Degeneres talk show and asked about the Chemtrail issue. Although he did not deny that the technology and methods exist, Gore took the stance that no program of this kind is currently operational. Such an opinion discredits the large number of researchers who for years have been warning that the spraying campaign is already in place.
I think Paul Watson of Infowars.com said it best when he wrote: “Given the fact that most advancements in science and technology are already taking place years before they are disclosed to the public, it stands to reason that geoengineering programs based around spraying the upper atmosphere with particles are already underway, most notably in the form of chemtrails, contrails that linger in the sky for hours and form into artificial clouds.” (Prisonplanet.com)
Regardless of what political celebrities say about the issue, it is clear there is a pell-mell of questions that still need to be asked. My advice is to avoid mainstream media outlets when researching into this subject, as their coverage in the past has been wholly scripted by the same people who don’t want the public to know what’s really going on.
The most comprehensive documentary (by far) that I have seen on the issue is entitled “What in the World Are They Spraying,” which can be found in its entirety at the link below. I hope you will take the time to watch this film, as it contains vital information about every aspect of the Chemtrail debate.
